Graduate School Fees

Your tuition fees will cover the cost of your study at the School of Graduate Studies, University of Port Harcourt as well as charges for registration, tuition, supervision, examinations and other charges.

Payment of fees will also entitle you to membership of the Library, Social Clubs, the Students' Union, Sporting Activities, Social and Socio-Cultural Activities. You may also be entitled to allowances in terms of bursary from your respective states of origin This will largely depend on your State or Local Government laws guiding the payment of bursary. Course Fees

Some courses incur higher expenditure than others and, it is therefore important that you check with the fee analysis/schedule for the correct fees to be paid before making choice of courses. Details of individual course fees can also be found in the course profiles.

Fee Assessment Process

The level of tuition fee you will pay varies depending on factors such as your nationality and which country you are resident in.

Paying Your Fees

Students must be able to provide documentary evidence from a sponsor that these fees will be paid on due dates or that they will be able to meet the cost themselves. If the fees are not paid by the due date then a late payment charge will be incurred by the student.

International students who are transferring funds from their respective countries to the School of Graduate Studies, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria must ensure they allow plenty of time for the funds to clear to avoid the charge.

  • Bank tellers

Major course fees are paid together with acceptance fee using one bank draft drawn from any commercial bank operating in Nigeria.

Other charges are paid as follows:

1. Development Levy:

2. Late Registration:
Late registration charge is paid direct into University of Port Harcourt Account domiciled in Uniport-Choba Community Bank Ltd. (U&C Microfinance Bank Ltd.)

3. Change of Mode of Study/Deferment of Admission/Change of Course:
Change of mode of study is paid direct into University of Port Harcourt Account domiciled in Uniport-Choba Community Bank Ltd. (U&C Microfinance Bank Ltd.)

4. ICTC
ICTC charge is paid direct into University of Port Harcourt Account domiciled in Uniport-Choba Community Bank Ltd. (U&C Microfinance Bank Ltd.)

5. Acommodation
Accommodation levy is paid direct into University of Port Harcourt, Students Affairs Account domiciled in Uniport-Choba Community Bank Ltd. (U&C Microfinance Bank Ltd.)
